Adam Duke, 28, was born and raised in Humboldt and on his grandpa and grandma Buschmann’s farm near Marysburg. Adam was a bartender and campaign manager for the Federal NDP during the 2015 election before returning to the University of Saskatchewan to complete his degree in Political Studies with a focus on administration and public policy.
Adam remains an active volunteer in the community and is committed to improving Seniors Care, capping classroom sizes, protecting our environment, investing in rural infrastructure, and finding a solution to rural doctor recruitment in Humboldt-Watrous.
Adam was elected to the University of Saskatchewan Senate in 2013-2014. Adam currently serves on the Board of the Community Gathering Place in Humboldt and is the Branch Service Officer for the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #28 – Humboldt. Adam was named the 2013 Humboldt & Area Junior Citizen of the Year for his leadership in the community.
