Nicole Rancourt has a Business Administration Certificate from SIAST and a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from the University of Regina. Nicole is a registered Social Worker and works at Prince Albert Mental Health Outpatient for the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.
As well as working full-time, Nicole facilitates anger management groups for other agencies on a contract basis. In 2008, Nicole was awarded the Rebel With A Cause award from the Elizabeth Fry Society for the work she has done with incarcerated women. Prior to Nicole’s career in Social Work she worked for two crown corporations; Sasktel and SaskPower. She knows how important these agencies are for our province and local communities.
Nicole is a passionate volunteer, she is a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, and is actively involved in her local association. She is the past Chairperson of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Saskatchewan Penitentiary and Prince Albert Parole. She is a member of the Prince Albert Council of Women and the Prairie Women’s Networkers. And Nicole is active with her union, the Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan.
Nicole has a son and daughter, a teen-aged step-son and step-daughter, and two grandsons. Her partner and she are share owners and season ticket holders for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, play slo-pitch on local teams, and are strong supporters of local sports and arts.
