The legislature is back in business this month, and the Sask Party are up to their usual tricks.
Right now they are trying to pass Bill 40, a bill that creates a new definition of "privatization" that lets the government wind down, dissolve, or sell up to 49% of the shares of our Crown Corporations without consulting the public.
The Sask Party has a long record of privatization, which includes: Heritage Gas, Navigata, and DirectWest Canada. Over the last two terms, Brad Wall has also privatized several parts of SaskTel.
Everyday, Prince Albert Northcote MLA Nicole Raincourt, and the rest of our NDP caucus, are taking the fight for our crowns directly to the Sask Party in the legislature, but they need our support.
Prince Albert Northcote NDP are holding a Fish Fry to raise funds to support Nicole's efforts, and the efforts of others advancing our cause locally.
Please show your support by joining us. All are invited.
We will be serving generous portions of delicious locally fished fried fish, french fries and coleslaw.
Please contact Rose to reserve your tickets today. She cans be reached at 360-922-8410 or firstname.lastname@example.org or David at 306-981-8190.
