Brett grew up in Westhill and Lakeridge, and now resides in the Lakeridge Addition. Brett's passion for the community motivated him to run as the NDP candidate in Regina Rochdale in the 2016 provincial election.
Brett attended Winston Knoll where he was awarded several honours including the Regina Intercollegiate Football League’s Citizenship Award.
A graduate of the University of Regina, Brett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & History, with Distinction.
Brett works in the Rochdale area as an Insurance Broker. Brett previously worked within the Saskatchewan civil service. He also led a province-wide public health awareness campaign while working with one of the country’s largest national charities.
As a dedicated community member, Brett has coached football at Winston Knoll and volunteered with several Regina sporting groups and national sporting events. He has also been active with the Saskatchewan Youth Parliament.
When Brett is not cheering on his favourite teams, he enjoys going out for a run or getting in a round of golf.
