Kelly Genert was born and raised in Maple Creek. She is a community leader, tradesperson, and single mother of two who works as an auto body technician and has spent her entire life in the constituency of Cypress Hills. She is an advocate for women in the trades, hard worker, and leader in her community.

The Sask. Party is putting our future at risk with cuts to our children’s classrooms. We need a government that listens to communities and invests in the next generation.

While working and raising her kids, Kelly has furthered her own education, spending two years at the University of Regina in early childhood education. This has given her critical insight into what young people need to succeed. She believes that hard work pays off in school, trades, and life but that the current government is creating barriers to young people’s opportunities for success. She is committed to fighting tirelessly for quality primary, secondary, and post-secondary education for Saskatchewan students and families.

Kelly, through hard work, has practiced her trade, raised two kids, and studied political and environmental sciences. It is her belief that these paths should be open to anyone who is willing to put in the right amount of work.
