Kelly Hardy is the New Democrat Candidate for Regina Walsh Acres.
Kelly has deep roots in Saskatchewan. Born and raised in Regina, for the past 10 years she has fought for and strengthened worker’s rights as a representative in Labour Relations with a public sector union based in northwest Regina. Kelly also has an entrepreneurial spirit, having owned and operated a small business, and she is currently assisting her partner, Joel, with his Regina-based business.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan and her certificate in Labour Relations from Queens University. An advocate for Saskatchewan’s most vulnerable people, she has served as the Director of Justice for the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan. Throughout her career, Kelly has negotiated dozens of agreements and presented numerous cases before labour and criminal tribunals.
Kelly lives with her partner, Joel, an immigrant to Canada, and she is a proud mom and new grandmother. She has three grown children, a son and two daughters, and her first grand-child was born on the day Saskatchewan declared a state of emergency.
