Demand a Data Centre Moratorium

Thousands and thousands of Saskatchewan people have raised concerns about hyperscale AI data centres — and Scott Moe and the Sask. Party have completely ignored them.

People are rightly asking how high their power bills will go to run these centres, about impacts to water supply, about how their data will be protected, and the impact to the environment these centres would cause.

The Sask. Party government is forcing data centres onto communities with no consultation.

That's why on September 15, 2026, Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck called for a full moratorium on data centres, after extensively consulting Saskatchewan people, something Scott Moe should have done in the first place.
