Malik Draz, with his wife and son, have called Saskatoon home since 2008. Since then, he has worked in his community, advocating for equality and safety through his work in the labour movement. As the President of United Steelworkers Local Union 2014, Draz has proven to be a strong and respected leader.

He serves as the Chair of his union’s Political Action Committee, working in local governance and politics to stand up for workers in his union. With a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and as a father, Draz recognizes the necessity of investing in people, starting with children and our education.
