The Global (UNESCO) 21st Century Educational Narrative is specifically about preparing individuals with the knowledge, understanding and skills to sustain the wellbeing of all, over the long term. Why has the Ministry of Education not demonstrated educational leadership in this regard by reorienting education to address sustainability and why has the fundamental Kindergarten to Grade Twelve curriculum not embraced 'interdisciplinarity' and a pedagogy that reflects experiential, multi-sensory and place-based learning?
