A recent CTV poll demonstrated that an overwhelming majority (77%) of Saskatchewan residents would like to see a competitive film tax credit back in our province. The film industry is experiencing a Canada-wide boom, and Saskatchewan could be leading this boom, bringing millions of dollars of economic activity to the province, yet our government-owned purpose-built film soundstage remains virtually unused and our film industry workers have to leave their homes & families to find work out of province. What kind of leadership is this?

In response, Moe declined to respond, punting to Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport Gene Makowsky instead, whose fumbled answer made clear this government has no intention of walking back its devastating removal of the Film Tax Credit.
