Moukoumi to be the New Democrat Candidate in Saskatoon Stonebridge-Dakota for 2020

Judicaël Moukoumi was nominated as the Saskatchewan New Democrat candidate for Saskatoon Stonebridge-Dakota this evening.

“Saskatchewan people are showing in uncertain times how to get through this,” said Moukoumi. “It’s by coming together and building each other up. That is our greatest strength, and something I wish to bring to the provincial legislature and the Saskatchewan government.”

Dr. Judicaël Moukoumi is a Saskatoon father, husband, research scientist, teacher, community builder, and entrepreneur. For more than a decade he has worked with schools, healthcare providers, businesses, communities and governments to build capacity and increase access to social, cultural and economic opportunities for youth, newcomers, women, seniors and families. His diverse experience working with institutions and stakeholders gives him a unique approach that spans sectors and demographics.

Judicaël is committed to building a strong and healthy economy that benefits all of us, not just the wealthy few. He believes that teamwork and community are how we all move forward, and is strongly committed to building a better Saskatchewan.

“Judicaël is another really strong addition to our growing team,” said NDP Leader Ryan Meili. “With a background in science and a commitment to Saskatchewan people, he will make for a great member of a government focused on evidence-based and people-first policies.”
