U.S. President Donald Trump has once again threatened to impose a 50% tariff on Canadian imports, threatening jobs, businesses, and industries across our country.
In 2025, all ten provinces took action by removing American liquor from store shelves to demonstrate solidarity and support for Canadian workers and producers. Yet, just two months after removing U.S. liquor products, Premier Scott Moe allowed them back into Saskatchewan stores.
At a time when Canada should be presenting a united front against unfair trade measures, Saskatchewan should stand alongside other provinces in defending our national economic interests.
Canada is better when we are all united.
