Scott Moe and Sask. Party Fail To Ensure Healthcare Is There for People Of Moose Jaw
Scott Moe and the Sask. Party need to answer for their failures on healthcare which has forced Moose Jaw families to be without the care they need.
The Dr. F.H Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw has seen a total of 231 days where basic radiography and laboratory services were not available, with repeated blackouts to obstetrics care, bariatric services, CT scans and more.
Tim McLeod, who’s represented Moose Jaw North, has been silent, letting his constituents down.
At a time when families need someone on their side, how can families trust Scott Moe to fix their health care when his government has driven it into last place.
A Saskatchewan NDP government will get the province out of last place on health care. If elected, we will:
-
Invest to hire more doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers.
-
Bring in a Grow Your Own strategy to train more healthcare workers here in Saskatchewan to work in Saskatchewan – with a focus on hard-to-recruit positions.
-
Create more permanent full-time healthcare positions to ensure frontline workers can stay in their communities and phase out costly contract positions.
