Amber grew up in the Battlefords. Amber and her husband met at Alexander Junior High and are now raising four children in our community. Away from work, she’s helping her kids with hockey, football, and other sports, as well as spending family time at the lake.
Amber Stewart is a trained social worker and advocate. Previously, she’s worked for the Battle River Treaty Six Health Centre as a counsellor, and as a Probation Officer for the Ministry of Justice. Today, she leads the Battlefords & Area Sexual Assault Centre as their Executive Director.
While working and raising her children, Amber earned a Social Work Degree from the University of Regina. She’s also been a volunteer leader for half a dozen sports events and non-profits.
Amber is ready to stand up for our families and children, seniors, small businesses, and workers.
