We introduced a bill to create a suicide prevention strategy and tackle the suicide crisis facing Saskatchewan.

But disturbingly, the Sask Party voted unanimously against this bill. It's unbelievable that this government would not overcome partisan differences for a necessary step like this.

Suicide tragically impacts so many Saskatchewan people, families, and communities. We need a government that takes this seriously by introducing legislation that includes funding for mental health and addictions, and suicide prevention.
