Nathaniel Teed is the Sask NDP MLA for Saskatoon Meewasin. He currently serves as the Deputy Whip, as well as the Official Opposition Critic for Parks, Culture and Sport, Tourism, SLGA, SaskGaming, and SGI. He was first elected in a by-election in 2022.
A lifelong Saskatoon resident, Nathaniel received a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. Nathaniel has worked as an arts and culture fundraiser, an educational assistant and teacher, and ran a small business for 10 years. Nathaniel is the first openly gay MLA in Saskatchewan’s history, and has spent many hours volunteering with his community through OutSaskatoon. Nathaniel lives in Saskatoon with his partner of 15 years, James, their two dogs and a cat.
