Born and raised in Fort Qu’Appelle, Birns has spent nearly his entire life in and around his hometown with his partner and their five children. As a musician and telecommunications specialist for over 25 years, Birns has travelled extensively across the White City-Qu’Appelle constituency. This experience has highlighted the issues facing Saskatchewan people; affordability, lack of quality education, access to healthcare and challenges facing small businesses.
