Agriculture & Rural Life AGM 2021

When
This event has already taken place.

The Agriculture and Rural Life Committee is holding its Annual Meeting on November 28, 2021, at 1:30pm.

Join us to hear from NDP Leader Ryan Meili, Agriculture Critic Trent Wotherspoon, and new Party President Sheila Whelan. We'll review the work of the past year, discuss the work ahead to get ready for the 2024 election, and elect our Steering Committee to make sure we have an executive ready to do the work ahead.

Please RSVP to receive the Zoom information for the meeting.

The last year has been an eventful one for the Saskatchewan NDP, with an election review being carried out by an independent panel that engaged in extensive consultations with Party members across the province. This work led to a task force being formed that laid out a Roadmap for our Party to follow to victory in 2024. The Agriculture and Rural Life Committee (ARC) was deeply involved in both processes, and is ready to engage rural Saskatchewan to ensure that its needs are addressed in the years ahead as we help build policy and platform for the next election.

ARC is calling for members who are ready to help engage with voters across our province, listen to their concerns and needs, and work together to build a better place to live. ARC’s Steering Committee has seven vacancies up for election this year, for terms varying from one to three years. We also require individuals who can help the Committee in its outreach programs.

Please join us for our upcoming AGM and learn more about our Committee and how you can help us in building a better Saskatchewan.
