The Indigenous New Democrats (INDS) present the next installment in our INDS Learning Series, the Daniels Decision.
On April 14, 2016, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled in Daniels v. Canada, finding that Métis and Non-Status peoples are considered Indians. Métis and non-status Indians have a right to be consulted and negotiated with in good faith by the federal government.
