CARLA BECK APPOINTS RON STYLES TO LEAD TRANSITION TEAM FOR NEXT SASKATCHEWAN NDP GOVERNMENT
SASKATOON — Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck has appointed Ron Styles as Transition Team Lead as the party prepares to form the next Government of Saskatchewan.
“We’re not going to waste any time getting to work,” said Beck. “We have a clear vision and a serious plan. With Ron’s experience and leadership, we’re building the team and doing the work now — so when Saskatchewan people choose change, we’re ready to deliver from Day 1.”
Styles has been a trusted adviser to Beck for nearly two years and played a key role in the Saskatchewan NDP’s recent campaign, which doubled the party’s seat count and increased its vote share in nearly every riding across the province.
Over a 40-year career in public service, Styles has held some of Saskatchewan’s most senior leadership roles, including President of SaskTel, Crown Investments Corporation, Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, and SaskWater. He also previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance.
“I’m honoured to take on this role and begin laying the groundwork for a Carla Beck–led government,” said Styles. “Carla has a plan to deliver real results for Saskatchewan people and to make decisions that benefit not just today, but future generations.”
Beck said Saskatchewan families are ready for change after years of decline under the Sask. Party.
“Under Scott Moe, Saskatchewan’s standard of living has fallen, healthcare and education are under strain, and people are paying more while getting less,” Beck said.
“Ron loves this province and has spent decades delivering for the people who call it home. We’re incredibly grateful to have him leading this important work as we focus on building a brighter future for Saskatchewan.”
