The late Howard Leeson was a constitutional scholar, public servant, and proud New Democrat — deeply committed to building a better Saskatchewan and a stronger democracy.

As part of this year’s Cathedral Village Arts Festival, a new lecture series in his honour is being launched: The Leeson Lecture.

For the inaugural talk, former Premier Lorne Calvert will offer his reflections on:

“Citizenship in the Time of Trump”
Are we becoming too divided and cynical to build community — or do festivals and forums like this point us toward a more inclusive and hopeful future?
