MOE BRAGS THAT HIS HEALTHCARE PLAN IS WORKING, REALITY CHECK: IT’S NOT

Scott Moe and the Sask. Party is so disconnected from the reality facing Saskatchewan that on days where nurses in Saskatoon rallied to protest conditions in hospitals, he actually claimed that his healthcare action plan was working.

Saskatchewan healthcare is in crisis. Nurses have been warning about the lack of capacity for years, but Moe and his team refuse to even acknowledge them or their concerns.

Yesterday, Scott Moe claimed that his plan, which has resulted in emergency rooms being at 350% capacity, running out of oxygen and being classified as risky workplaces, is “working” and stated that he wants to build on it.

Scott Moe and the Sask. Party have driven healthcare into last place, and their plan is to double down on that failure.

A Carla Beck government won’t accept Scott Moe’s status quo and has a plan to invest an additional $1.1 billion into the healthcare system, to recruit, train and retain healthcare workers, and reduce the pressure on Saskatchewan emergency rooms.

It is time to get Saskatchewan health care out of last place. On October 28th, the voters of Saskatchewan can choose change, and elect the Saskatchewan NDP.
