Scott Moe Ignored People Struggling With Rising Costs For Years
Carla Beck-led NDP Government Will Cut Costs on Gas Day 1, PST On Groceries & Children’s Clothing By Christmas
THE BATTLEFORDS – Tom Kroczynski, Saskatchewan NDP candidate for The Battlefords, said Scott Moe ignored the people of Saskatchewan for years during a crushing cost-of-living crisis and he can’t be trusted to follow-through on overdue, campaign-time promises to help now.
“I hear everyday from people who can’t make ends meet here in The Battlefords,” Kroczynski said. “Rather than help them out, Scott Moe and the Sask. Party actually made things more expensive. They hiked taxes 31 times in a single year and people here suffered.”
Kroczynski said Moe can’t be trusted to deliver on promises specific to Saskatchewan’s disability community, given that he’s ignored members of that community for years. Kroczynski said people talking to him on the campaign trail are worried about the rising cost of the basics, like food, transportation and clothing.
“It’s time for change,” Kroczynski said. “Carla Beck will lower costs for families, starting with the gas tax on Day 1. She will also take off Sask. Party tax hikes off children’s clothing and groceries before Christmas.”
“We will cut costs for families without raising taxes and we will get healthcare and education out of last place in The Battlefords and right across Saskatchewan. It’s time for change.”
