REALITY CHECK - Sask. Party candidates line up behind Meili on GTH scandal

While Scott Moe continues to ignore calls for a public inquiry into the GTH scandal, his candidates have been saying the opposite – supporting Ryan Meili and the rest of the province when it comes to the need for a public inquiry:

  • Jeremy Harrison, Moe’s candidate in Meadow Lake, on the GTH:

“Things did go wrong! Obviously! There were some huge mistakes made!” - Aug 24, 2017

  • Harrison on the Sask Party’s current weak conflict of interest laws:

“We need stronger conflict of interest laws.”   - Aug 24, 2017

  • Gord Wyant, Sask Party candidate in Saskatoon West,  on the need for a GTH inquiry:

We need to shine a very, very bright light on this,”- Mar 5, 2019

  • Tina Beaudry-Mellor, Scott Moe’s candidate in Regina-University, on the GTH inquiry:

I would consider a public inquiry into the matter” - Jan 17, 2018

What was Scott Moe’s response?

At least the GTH is well run, properly managed and a tremendous success – oh, wait.

It’s a hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck.
