On Wednesday, George Carlin's seven dirty words routine was selected for preservation at the Library of Congress. Observers can’t help but notice that when the Sask. Party scrawled out their uninspiring platform on the back of a napkin, they seem to have identified seven unspeakable terms themselves.
Perhaps the Sask. Party thinks a platform is no place to openly discuss matters such as climate change and domestic violence. Maybe they think Saskatchewan people just can’t handle talk about gay-straight alliances. And maybe Brad Wall thinks that poverty just shouldn’t be raised in mixed company. Or maybe they don’t think much of these issues at all.
